Sourced from choice plots across the north, southwest, and southeast slopes of Mount Etna, these bush vines are rooted in pure, mineral-rich volcanic ash and sand at altitudes up to 750 meters. Raised primarily in stainless steel with a tiny fraction in neutral oak, it focuses purely on raw varietal tension. The wine pours a translucent, pale ruby color, leaping with wild strawberries, sour red cherries, pomegranate, and orange peel, backed by a deep vein of volcanic ash, white pepper, and wild thyme. The palate is light-bodied, energetic, and chiseled, driving forward on a sharp spine of vertical acidity and fine-grained, ash-dusted tannins. It finishes bone-dry and intensely sapid, leaving a mouth-watering trail of crushed stones and tart red fruit.
