Reviewed January 2025Pale lemon, clean and clear cut. Correctly ripe, a little bit of spice at the finish, which falls away a touch compared to the St-Aubin backbone. Still, a very sound Chassagne from white terroirs if I remember correctly. Drink from 2027-2031. Tasted Nov 2025.

Prominent aromas of petrol, rosemary oil, apple and a whiff of citrus peel. The delicious and vibrant if slightly less concentrated flavors still manage to offer a succulent mouthfeel that carries over to the punchy, clean and mildly rustic finale. This is a quality Chassagne villages and worth a look.*Burghound Outstanding!*

The 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet Hereditas has an understated bouquet with grass clippings, Granny Smiths and light sea spray scents. The palate is well balanced with a crisp line of bright acidity and a tangy, saline finish. Promising.(NM)
