Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy: "The only one of the Lorenzon vineyards that works equally well with both colours. The pinot vines are lower down and exposed to the south-west. Two thirds whole bunch vinification. Exceptionally dense inky black purple. The nose is powerful again of course. High octane. Plums and even a little bit of prunes. Then the wine flows very well on the palate and covers the tannins better than the Clos du Chapitre. Black fruit but in fact not too heavy."
