91 points Jasper Morris for Inside Burgundy: "The purple is beginning to move towards a crimson red. This is rather more robust than the 2019 and a little less sensual. A tress cuvée. Much more tannins, quite savoury, a little orange blossom mixed in, fair length, just a little bit betwixt and between for the moment. Then at the back of the palate the freshness of the fruit returns. Distinguished but adolescent." (11/2021)

“A more elegant nose is comprised by notes of the fresh and airy essence of red and dark cherry, violet and soft spice wisps. Here too there is very good vibrancy to the lilting and well-detailed medium weight flavors that flash evident salinity on the focused, balanced and sneaky long finale. A quality Chambolle villages. *Outstanding, Top Value*” (01/2020)

“Higher elevation and an exposition tilted northwards gives a cooler edge to this wine. Very perfumed, it has poised raspberry aromas and perfect Chambolle typicity. Yet it's denser than expected, compact rather than robust or overtly tannic. The finish is limpid, though it seems to lack a little drive on the finish. But it's persistent and stylish. “1.62 ha in five plots at the top of the Chambolle slope, near the limestone cliffs, all facing north and north-east. 100% whole bunch. Mid, transparent cherry red. A little more stemmy than the Nuits-St-Georges but still subtle. Peppery freshness to the scented dark-red fruit. Just wafts out of the glass with a gentle floral and red-fruited character that is pure Chambolle. Utterly moreish and mouth-watering. Gentle, supple, refined in every way and so persistent in its gentleness and freshness. The tannins are succulent and deliciously finely dry on the finish. 17/20 points (JH)” (03/2020)
