2022 Reeve "Kiser Vineyard - Lower Block" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir
94
Jeb Dunnuck
Review Date: 07/2025Made entirely from the 115 Dijon clone of Pinot Noir, the 2022 Pinot Noir Kiser Vineyard Lower Block has a bright red hue and a bit more fruit, including raspberries, wild fresh herbs, and orange peel. The palate has tension and vibrant acidity, with grapefruit citrus and dried earth, and again, it has an angular structure that is reminiscent of Nebbiolo. It’s highly refreshing and compact, with a medium-bodied frame. Drink 2025-2040. 94+ (AF)

The 2022 Pinot Noir Kiser Vineyard Lower Block comes across as very austere and unyielding. Iron, white pepper, chalk and white pepper open with some coaxing. Medium in body and compact, there's good depth and energy here, but a bit less in the way of mid-palate pliancy. (AG)
