In 1975, Bénédicte Leroy's parents moved to Essoyes and started a small farm. By the 1980s, they planted four hectares of grapes in Essoyes and Noé-les-Mallets. In 2009, Bénédicte and her husband Manu Leroy took over, farming organically and making their own wines. They built a straw bale winery and embrace biodynamic principles. Their wines are single-vineyard cuvées, bottled ‘brut nature’ with no dosage, and aged on lees. No sulfur has been used since 2013, reflecting their commitment to natural winemaking.
