“Pretty purple colour with good depth but not the most intense in this cellar. Some elegance to the nose. Fully ripe grapes, luscious raspberry, balanced on the palate with a fresher finish, poised and persistent. In fact the aftertaste is really striking.” (11/2019)

“One of the high points of the range is the 2018 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru, a striking wine that exhibits scents of cassis, forest floor, wild berries, dark chocolate, warm spices and peonies. “A discreetly floral-suffused nose gracefully displays ripe yet cool aromas of dark berry fruit liqueur, spice and a suggestion of the sauvage. There is very good density to the suave and energetic middle weight plus flavors that brim with minerality on the linear, focused and lingering finish. This needs to develop more depth but given the firm supporting tannic spine, it should be able to do that without undue concern.” (04/2020)
