“The Rochioli estate sustains some of the oldest sauvignon blanc vines in California, planted by Joe Rochioli in 1959. That original planting accounts for about 44 percent of this wine. Its ripeness and phenolic concentration is almost overpowering at first, but with air it relaxes into tones of smoke, honey and green peas.
