The 2022 Pinot Noir Francesca Vineyard comes from a site in the Sta. Rita Hills and was fermented with plenty of stems (60%) and aged in 25% new French oak. It has a little Dujac-like vibe in its stemmy red and black fruits as well as complex notes of underbrush, leather, and leafy herbs. This carries to a medium-bodied Pinot Noir that's beautifully balanced, has fine, polished tannins, and a great finish. It's one hell of a classy Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir to drink over the coming decade.
