Aged for 3 years in ex-bourbon in Jamaica, it was then moved to Europe for 2 more years of additional aging. Bottled at "Navy Strength, " this is a more elegant and relatively more restrained example of that old Jamaican funky style. Tasting notes from Transcontinental, "Profile: Rich and smoky.Nose: Full-bodied and powerful. Coconut, candiedlemon, medicinal notes and camphor.Palate: Intense and lively. Bitter orange, ginger, infused herbs.Finish: Lingering and complex. Pine, star anise, hintof smoke."
