Spice, peppered red fruit aroma, raspberry liqueur, with vegetal crunch, white pepper. The raspberry is prominent. There is good spark in the palate fruit, very helpful stems to keep it moving – it’s even a bit rigorous from them. It lengthens into tarry, grapey insistence. This is cool wine, especially in the 2017 context of high heat. It will take time to fuse. 'The stems give it energy, ' Pierre Benetière. 4, 000 b+.95% Syr, 5% Vio. From 2021 at least." (03/2018)
