1987 Spring Mountain Vineyard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Bid on this bottle of 1987 Spring Mountain Vineyard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes were from the Spring Mountain District grown on what was then the new vineyard around the large Victorian, Miravalle. The wine is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a small percent of Merlot. Fermented fully on the skins, aged in seasoned French oak barrels for 22 months. Drinking incredibly well now, and with years of pleasure ahead of it, this wine displays a deep ruby color, distinct Cabernet varietal aroma, bottle bouquet, full body and flavor. Rare and something really special!
