“The 2012 Mad Hatter, Dancing Hares's second wine, is delicious. It shares a similarly dark profile with the flagship Dancing Hares, but shows a bit more energy, tension and persistence. Hints of graphite, smoke and black cherries are laced into the expressive finish. Merlot plays a greater role in this blend, so perhaps that is why the Mad Hatter is just a bit more open than the Dancing Hares is today.
