“Bright red-ruby. Captivating dark raspberry and floral aromas. Dense yet delicate and lacy, with lovely juicy acidity giving the peppery red fruit flavors terrific energy and thrust for the year. A much more feminine style of Volnay than the Fremiets or Caillerets. Finishes pure, peppery, brisk and very long, with lovely lingering perfume. (ST)” (03/2008)
