This Kentucky Straight Bourbon is the result of the diverse team made up of distillers, chefs, and bartenders at BBC coming together and blending an exceptional whisky. The bulk (75%) of the blend is 11 year, 7 month old bourbon with a 74 corn/18 rye/8 malt mashbill. Five percent of the blend is 13 year old 78/12/10 and marks the oldest portion. The remaining 10 and 10 percent is 5 year old and 10 year old bourbons both made from 75/13/12 mashbills. The Discovery Series is bottled at cask strength and without chill filtration.

The palate is spiced with cinnamon, clove, and roasted walnuts, as well as chocolate-covered cherries, raspberry cobbler, and a hint of coconut shavings. Length, depth, and heat on a finish of chocolate, caramel, and bursts of sweet baking spice. Deep and complex, balancing dark fruits, chocolate, spice, and tobacco. Powerful and subtle all at once.
