Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1996 Perrot Minot Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Fuees" ((92-94RP), 91ST). Wine Advocate: "I was blown away by this medium-to-dark ruby/purple-colored wine. Produced from a newly purchased parcel of vines planted in 1945, it reveals intricate aromas of blueberries, cassis, blackberries, minerals, gravel, thyme, and Asian spices. On the palate it is lively, bright, profoundly complex, masculine yet elegant, powerful yet detailed. This magnificent offering has a full-bodied silky-texture, and exciting flavors of juicy black currant, berries, candied oranges, and toast. Wow! (PR)" (08/1998)

“Deep, fresh red. Black raspberry, clove and orange peel on the nose, plus a Bonnes-Mares-like herbal component. Dense and sweet, but powerfully structured; conveys a drier impression today than the Combe d'Orveau. Solidly built and a bit tough on the finish; to drink after the Combe d'Orveau. Very much like a smaller-scaled Bonnes-Mares. (ST)” (03/1999)
