Bid on this bottle of 1999 Aldo Conterno "Granbussia" Barolo Riserva (95RP, 95ST, 92VN). Wine Advocate: "This is a great showing for Conterno's 1999 Barolo Riserva Granbussia. A deeply-flavored, structured wine, it offers expressive aromatics and layers of sweet black cherries, roses and tar in a powerful, intense style. It needs at least a few additional years of cellaring for the oak to soften, but it is a terrific effort. (AG) " (05/2008)

“Conterno's 1999 Barolo Riserva Granbussia is one of the more forward, accessible wines of the year. Worn-in leather, spices, tobacco, menthol and licorice are some of the notes that lift from the glass. Now that some of the baby fat is beginning to melt away, the tannins are becoming more incisive. (AG)” (08/2014)

“Magnum. Not quite ready but magnificent. Tight, fine and vibrant with the tannins still in evidence but already a haunting perfume. Absolutely classic and a real treat to taste it. 18/20 points (JR)” (05/2015)
