John Livingstone-Learmonth for Cradle of the Rhône: "marked yellow. Nose shows evolution, a ripe, golden syrup aroma, the real south facing slope effect, honey and rosemary. Honeyed, with a caramel, vanilla, flan interior. Almost a quince finale, with hazelnut. Good end definition, is a little oaked still." (12/2005)
