92 points, Mosel Fine Wines on the 10-year retrospective of the vintage: "This bright hay colored Auslese delivers a rather shy nose of pear, melon, ground spices and smoky slate. The feel on the palate plays nicely on vibrancy and creamy roundness with lemony and creamy fruits nicely integrated into a zesty structure. The finish is nicely long and, despite an underlying creaminess, beautifully mouthwatering. Now-2037." (Jean Fisch and David Rayer, 04/2017)

Wine & Spirits
“Prüm's 2007s are exceptionally pure and filigreed, and this is no exception. It's intense without being weighty, its ripe fruit showing energy and tension. As with the Spätlese, this feels more open in its youth than the Sonnenuhr Auslese does, showing a little bit more body, if not quite the complexity or length.” (10/2009)

Wine Spectator
“High-toned floral, citrus and red berry aromas introduce this delicate Riesling, which is marked by finesse and a gossamer frame, unveiling its citrus and peach flavors in a fleeting manner. Fine length. (BS)” (04/2009)

Wine Advocate
“Musk melon, peach, black currant, and botrytis-inflected suggestions of caramel, white raisin, and pungent spice fill the nose from Prum’s 2007 Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese. A considerable measure of yeasty and CO2-engendered aromas needs to clear off before this really begins to show its formidable stuff. Creamy in texture and quite unlike the corresponding Spatlese, it displays more than enough energy, concentration, and sheer length, but needs time to harmonize and focus. (DS)” (06/2009)
