“Prüm's 2007s are exceptionally pure and filigreed, and this is no exception. It's intense without being weighty, its ripe fruit showing energy and tension. As with the Spätlese, this feels more open in its youth than the Sonnenuhr Auslese does, showing a little bit more body, if not quite the complexity or length.” (10/2009)

“Musk melon, peach, black currant, and botrytis-inflected suggestions of caramel, white raisin, and pungent spice fill the nose from Prum’s 2007 Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese. A considerable measure of yeasty and CO2-engendered aromas needs to clear off before this really begins to show its formidable stuff.
