JCB Winery is part of the Boisset Collection, created by Jean Charles Boisset, a Burgundy-born vintner whose family founded their domaine in 1961. After moving to California in the early 1990s, he began acquiring key estates, eventually building a portfolio that spans Napa, Sonoma, and Burgundy. The JCB label blends Old World heritage with California power, expressed through limited-edition wines identified by numbers tied to personal milestones. Production focuses on small lots sourced from Napa Valley and select Burgundy sites, crafted to highlight texture, structure, and stylistic intent. Farming across the Boisset Collection emphasizes organic and biodynamic practices, and JCB wines are known for intensity, polish, and expressive detail.
