“The 2020 Domaine de la Côte “Bloom’s Field” Pinot Noir is an outstanding young wine. The bouquet is deep, pure and gently sappy in profile, wafting from the glass in a mix of red and black cherries, red plums, beetroot, sweet stem tones, pigeon, a complex base of soil, a touch of cocoa powder and a discreet framing of cedary new oak. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and focused, with fine depth at the core, lovely soil signature, suave tannins and a long, vibrant and youthfully complex finish.
