2005 Domaine Dauvissat-Camus Chablis 1er Cru "La Forest"

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Domaine Dauvissat-Camus Chablis 1er Cru "La Forest". 91-93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Pale, green-tinged color. Very fresh aromas of lime, ginger, wet stone, menthol and chlorophyll. Then almost surprisingly sweet, suave and opulent but with a light touch and a whiff of mint adding pungency to the flavors of white peach and minerals. Best today on the rising, palate-staining, very long finish. A superb premier cru in the making: more typical of Chablis and less 2005 in character than most. I love this style." (Nov/Dec 06) "Sweet spot Outstanding!" and 90-92 points Allen Meadows: "Zesty citrus, floral and spice aromas jump from the glass to reveal clean, crisp and pure flavors wrapped around a tangy core of ripe acidity that culminates in a chiseled and gorgeously vibrant finish. This has a touch of the exotic on the finish but not much. An impressive 1er." (Oct 01, 2006)
