Four Lanterns Winery was founded in 2013 by Steve and Jackie Gleason after purchasing the former Sycamore Farms property on Paso Robles’ west side. The estate centers on two vineyards: Glass Hawk Vineyard, a 35-acre site in the Willow Creek District—certified organic in 2024—and Jackie’s Vineyard, a 20-acre parcel in the Templeton Gap AVA. Together they support Rhône, Bordeaux, Spanish, and select Italian varieties. The Gleasons opened their tasting room in 2014, later adding a modern production facility in 2015 to ensure fully estate-grown and estate-made wines. With hot days, cool nights, and calcareous soils shaping the fruit, winemaker Steve Gleason focuses on crafting balanced, complex wines that reflect Paso Robles’ distinctive terroir.
