Reviewed October 2025A slightly riper nose is comprised by liqueur-like aromas of black cherry, cassis, spice and soft floral hints that are trimmed in moderate wood influence. The middle weight flavors are not especially dense though they are finer while retaining good vibrancy and detail on the youthfully austere finish that also firms up noticeably. This is ripe but solidly powerful and well-balanced.*Burghound Outstanding!*

Medium deep crimson ruby. A little less nose than expected, some floral notes, darker fruit behind, some tannic grip after all, medium length. Drink from 2029-2033. Tasted Oct 2025.
