Buffalo Trace Distillery, located in Frankfort, Kentucky, is one of the oldest continuously operating distillery in the U.S., with roots dating back to 1775. Known during Prohibition for producing “medicinal” whiskey, it was acquired by the Sazerac Company in 1992 and introduced its flagship Buffalo Trace Bourbon in 1999. Today, the distillery produces a diverse portfolio of acclaimed spirits across 75 aging warehouses and has been named Distiller of the Year by *Whisky Magazine* three times, most recently in 2022.
