Reviewed July 2024This well-polished, concentrated and refined wine has a quiet power that will help it age well. Graphite, blackcurrants, violets, pencil shavings and dark chocolate. So silky, black-fruited and elegant. Made from 84% cabernet sauvignon, largely from their estate vines in Rutherford, 7% malbec, 6% petit verdot, 2% merlot and 1% cabernet franc. Drinkable now, but best from 2028. (JG)
