Juicy upon entry, it quickly gains saturating tension as tart wild berry fruits drench the palate in primary concentration. Tactile mineral tones linger with silky tannins as this finishes long, with a note of blackcurrant that fades slowly.

Based on 72% Cabernet Sauvignon and 28% Petite Sirah, aged 22 months in 300-liter French oak barrels (45% new), the 2021 Apollo shows darker currants, cassis, graphite, crushed stone, and sappy herb and floral notes. Medium to full-bodied, it has tons of sweet fruit, a ripe yet balanced, elegant mouthfeel, and a great finish.
