“A much more powerful expression of Oakville emerges from the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Tench Vineyard, which, not surprisingly, is sourced from the rockiest of the five parcels on the site. Powerful and tightly wound to the core, the 2013 exudes energy, with massive tannins that totally enshroud the fruit. The Tench is by far the most backward, tannic wine in the Bevan range. Accordingly, it will need at least a few years to settle down. (AG) 95+” (10/2015)
