“The 2020 Zinfandel Buck Cobb Vineyard stands out in this range for its aromatic intensity and mid-weight structure. In 2020, winemaker Tegan Passalacqua excluded Alicante and Mourvèdre from the blend, which likely explains the wine's gracious personality. Sweet red cherry fruit, rose petal, mint, cedar and cinnamon all grace this wonderfully expressive Zinfadel from Turley. “The 2021 Zinfandel Judge Bell Vineyard is a potent, brooding wine. Gravel, dried herbs, menthol, cured meat, licorice and red berry fruit give this brawny Zinfandel a good deal of character. The Judge Bell is not an easy wine, but it has so much to offer for those who are willing to take some time with it. Today, the acids and tannins stick out a bit.
