The Maybach family planted their Sonoma Coast vineyard with a pair of Pinot Noir clones, Swan and Calera, to express different aspects of the site. The producer describes this Thomas Rivers Brown wine as having "...leagues of depth and aromatic notes of forest floor, cassis, and cinnamon. On the palate, notes of plum, cranberry compote, rosemary, oolong tea and a zesty acidity draw out into a clean perfumed finish."
