Domaine Grosbois is a family estate in Panzoult, centered on the historic fifteenth-century Pressoir farm, long tied to Cabernet Franc in Chinon. Nicolas and Sylvain Grosbois returned after global winemaking work to run the domaine, farming organically with ongoing biodynamic conversion and a broader polycultural program that includes agroforestry, livestock, and market gardening. Vineyard holdings range from deep clay-loam over limestone near Le Pressoir to sand and gravel parcels closer to the Vienne. Fermentations take place in cement or stainless steel, and since 2015 the cellar has moved away from oak to emphasize purity and freshness. The domaine now spans roughly twenty to twenty-five hectares and continues to expand its facilities and viticultural projects.

Laurent Perrachon’s work in Moulin-à-Vent builds on a family lineage documented since 1601, with the Perrachons acquiring Domaine des Perelles in Romanèche-Thorins in 1877. The site sits on manganese-rich granite, a hallmark of the cru. Vines average around eighty years of age, and fruit is harvested by hand. Fermentation follows a semi-carbonic approach over roughly twelve days, and élevage for the Cuvée Spéciale extends to about eighteen months in oak. The domaine farms parcels across six Beaujolais crus, reflecting a long-established regional presence.
