2014 Jeff Cohn "Rockpile Vineyard - Haley" Sonoma County Syrah
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2014 Jeff Cohn "Rockpile Vineyard - Haley" Sonoma County Syrah (97RP). Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Syrah Haley from Rockpile, is 100% Syrah aged 16 months in different sized French barrels. Thirty percent whole clusters were used. This is more structured, mineral-dominated and masculine than the So Serine, which is a quintessential, elegant, feminine, but super-rich style of Syrah. This is also rich, but more virile, backward and needing several years of bottle age. This full-bodied classic should drink well for 10-15 years and readers should approach it like they would an Hermitage from France’s Northern Rhône Valley. (RP)" (12/2016)
