Nearly opaque ruby/purple-colored, this wine displays a spectacular yet unevolved nose of black-raspberries, floral scents, and minerals. In the mouth, there is staggering concentration, medium to full body, a noticeable overlay of tannin, but admirable sweetness to its fruit. The astonishing length makes for a remarkable mouthful of wine. Owners of this beauty should exercise another 4-6 years of patience; it will keep for 20-30 years." (12/1992)
