Bright ruby. A complex, high-toned bouquet displays redcurrant, cherry and tobacco, with a suave floral quality gaining strength with air. Juicy red fruit flavors are complemented by licorice and bitter chocolate and given support by zesty acidity. The floral note echoes through a long, spicy, focused finish. This is one to age. (JR)
