The Stromberg 2024 Riesling GG, as it is referred to on the consumer label, offers a quite smoky and minty nose with just a touch of residues from its spontaneous fermentation, and includes wild herbs, blackberry, cassis, cherry, acacia, thyme, black tea, and flintstone. The wine is quite structured and compact on the palate, and only slowly shows more finesse as fresh flavors of mint and spices join the party. The finish is hugely long and slightly on the broader side. The aftertaste is full of spices and intensity.
