The Felseneck 2024 Riesling GG, as it is referred to on the consumer label, displays a quite reductive and hugely smoky nose of wild herbs, spearmint, plenty of fine spices, violet, cassis, thyme, rosemary, toast, flintstone, and almond kern. The wine starts off on a delicately juicy and very elegant side, before showing huge depth and intensity. The energy packed in the wine is incredible, and the finish is razor-sharp and superbly animating, with fine notes of salty and spicy elements in the background.
