A more restrained yet strikingly elegant nose features a cool and beautifully spicy array of various red berries, especially cherry and raspberry, along with plenty of floral influence. The equally cool, pure and sleek medium-bodied flavors possess a completely different mouthfeel as here it's seductive and velvety, all wrapped in a firm, palate coating and gorgeously long finish. The Reignots was planted in 1997 so these are no longer young vines. A fine mid ruby purple. Immediate elegance and charm. A few tendrils of oak playing around the vivid fresh red fruit. On the palate the oak also shows its presence but this will calm with time. Drink from 2031-2037. Tasted Nov 2024.
