Bottled under the original Beauséjour name before the Bécot family renamed the estate in 1979. A genuine piece of St-Émilion history. Fully mature, with a nose of dried dark fruit, leather, tobacco, and earthy undergrowth. 1970 was an uneven vintage for St-Émilion, making a well-cellared example a notable find. Soft tannins, a savory mid-palate, and a long, tertiary finish.
