Review Date: 05/2026The 2025 Château Langoa Barton is based on 45% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 15% Cabernet Franc, checking in at 13.5% alcohol with a pH of 3.55. Darker currants, smoky tobacco, graphite, and tons of violet and floral nuances all shine on the nose, and it has remarkable purity, full-bodied richness, a broad, layered mouthfeel, and ripe, polished tannins on the palate. The finish is a blockbuster. It's probably the greatest Langoa ever.

Sweet and polished nose, very fresh, with a fine layer of tannins supporting the juicy fruit. This is a charming wine with a fine depth and layers of cassis-filled, ripe fruit underneath. A fine and polished Langoa Barton with a nice fruity aftertaste. (IB)

Cropped at a mere 20 hectoliters per hectare, one of the lowest yields ever recorded at this address, the 2025 Langoa Barton offers up aromas of dark berries, pencil shavings, spices and new oak. Medium- to full-bodied, with bright acids and chalky tannins, it's a blend of 45% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc. (WK)

Email ScottLangoa Barton’s 2025 opens with expressive aromas of sappy dark red fruit layered over classic Left Bank structure. The palate is rich yet composed, offering notes of black cherry, red currant, and ripe plum framed by moderate tannins and a vibrant, cohesive acidity that carries the wine with precision and balance. Subtle secondary nuances of cigar box and cedar emerge alongside savory accents of cumin, coriander, and dried spice, adding depth and complexity without overpowering the fruit. The finish is clean, refined, and lingering, leaving behind a polished impression of restraint, freshness, and understated elegance.
