Julien learned how to make wine at Chateau Lafite Rothschild and Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte in Bordeaux before coming to Napa Valley to serve as Philippe Melka's Director of Winemaking for 8 years. He has made a name for himself as one of the most highly talented winemakers of a generation.
