Mazzocco was a a small Sonoma-linked label in the late 1990s, most often associated with Zinfandel from old-vine sites around Dry Creek and Alexander valleys. Bottlings were made in a traditional house style. Mostly hand-harvested fruit, moderate extraction, and a mix of American and neutral oak, aiming for ripeness without the heavy gloss that would define the early-2000s peak era.
