Founded in 1997 in Tuscany’s coastal Maremma, Tenuta Fertuna is a modern estate built on a deep respect for place and precision farming. The name combines “fertility” and “fortune,” a nod to its coastal terroir of galestro and limestone soils with steady Mediterranean breezes. About 50 hectares of vines are planted among a larger 145-hectare property, with Sangiovese joined by Bordeaux varieties and Vermentino. Fermentations take place in temperature-controlled steel, while top reds age in French oak to polish structure and depth.
