Full, bright medium red. Lovely perfumed nose offers blueberry, cassis and violet. Musky, sweet and inviting, with a seamless texture to the flavors of currant, leather, chocolate and licorice. A really plush and edge-free blend, with explosive finishing flavors of red fruits and leather and ripe, lush tannins. I can't recall tasting a more promising barrel sample from Bordeaux varieties in Lake County.
