A small-format dessert bottling from M. Chapoutier, made from Viognier grown in the Ardèche and labeled Vin de Pays rather than under a Northern Rhône appellation. The "paille" reference points to the traditional passerillage, or straw-wine, method in which grapes are dried before pressing to concentrate sugar.
