Reviewed January 2025All bottled in January 2025 including the VCI element. Pale in colour, the bouquet bolstered rather than swamped by the oaking. There is a deliciously rich yet still not exotic mid palate. This is very Right Bank in style. Extremely youthful and retaining the key kimmeridgian core of the terroir. Alcohol 13.00%. Drink from 2028-2036. Tasted Jun 2025.

These are young vines, ranging from three to 14 years old. It's wild and exotic with spice drawer, fleshy Damson plums and cherimoya. It's a blast of flavor, right through the moderate finish. There's a vague tannic tug and perky acidity to keep the palate in check.

Note: from a massive 5 ha parcel. Here too there is a mild whiff of exotic character to the aromas of citrus confit, passion fruit, spice and moderate Chablis typicity. There is fine volume to the more concentrated broad-shouldered flavors that display evident power on the saline-inflected, balanced and nicely dry finale. This possesses fine development potential and is a wine to consider.*Burghound Outstanding!*
