Domaine Jean-Marc Vincent began in 1997 when Jean-Marc and Anne-Marie Vincent took back family vineyards in Santenay, building a tiny, detail-driven estate that now farms about 6 hectares across Santenay and Auxey-Duresses. Their work follows near-organic farming adopted in 2003, with dense plantings, extensive handwork, and careful soil management. Production remains small, centered on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from village and premier-cru parcels such as Les Gravières, Le Beaurepaire, and Les Passetemps. In the cellar, fruit is harvested by hand, moved by gravity, and fermented with native yeasts; reds may include whole clusters and age in modest new oak, while whites ferment cool in barrel. The domaine is widely regarded as a benchmark for Santenay, producing precise, terroir-focused wines.
