2018 Alpha Omega Napa Valley Merlot

Alpha Omega began in 2006 when Robin and Michelle Baggett established their Rutherford-based, Napa Green–certified estate with a focus on Bordeaux varieties and meticulous, small-lot production. The winery sources from top Napa sites including Beckstoffer To Kalon, Georges III, Dr. Crane, Las Piedras, Thomas Vineyard, and its own estate parcels, allowing a broad expression of valley terroirs. Winemaking blends Old World hand-tended practices with New World technology, relying on native-yeast barrel fermentations for flagship wines like ERA and its Single Vineyard bottlings. Sustainable farming, selective use of French oak, and a commitment to handcrafted methods define the cellar approach.
