Reviewed March 2021The 2019 Chardonnay Estate bursts with bold notions of guava, juicy peaches and honeydew melon, followed by hints of beeswax, toasted almonds and nutmeg with a waft of candied ginger. The full-bodied palate delivers a gorgeous satiny texture with layers of stone fruit and melon flavors and loads of savory/spicy accents, finishing on a lingering honey-nut note. (LPB)

The 2019 Chardonnay Estate is a potent, structured wine that will need a few years to come together. Its depth, complexity and overall presence are admirable. Bright acids perk up a core of tangerine peel, mint, apricot and honey. The 2019 is beautifully done. Given how these wines age, I would be in no rush to open a bottle. 95+ (AG)

This is an uncommon high-elevation white from relatively old vines, some of which are still planted on St. George rootstock. It provides plenty of tension, length and complexity, unfurling slowly and with structure to show aromatic intensity of white flower and jasmine. On the palate it shines in honeycomb, lime and crème brûlée. This should be aged further *Cellar Selection* (VB)
