Review Date: 10/2005Extremely classy wine with blackberry, currants and black licorice on the nose. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and an opulent finish. Meaty and spicy. It's all there and very exciting. Sangiovese, Cabernet and Syrah.

From Tua Rita's estate near Suvereto on the Tuscan coast, Perlato del Bosco has long served as the winery's Sangiovese-focused Toscana IGT, distinct from the Merlot-driven Redigaffi and Bordeaux-inspired Giusto di Notri. The 2003 vintage was notably warm across Tuscany.
