Meritxell Pallejà established her Gratallops winery in 2015 after a decade producing Nita and planting Garnatxa across local hillsides. She grew up in a winemaking family and built her craft through work at Domaine Leflaive in Burgundy, Pine Ridge in Napa, and eighteen years with Álvaro Palacios. She now farms five small Priorat parcels on llicorella soils with a biodynamic approach. Production focuses on Garnatxa and Cariñena from estate and family vineyards, vinified in small lots that highlight individual sites. Annual output sits around thirty two thousand bottles, including Nita, Magran, La Costa del Riu, and limited terrer wines.
